Karma's a Bitch — Part One of "A Metaphysical Look at Where we Find Ourselves in 2026"

This is the opening installment of a six-part series that explores the energies manifesting reality and world events today, including karmic cycles, the turning of an age, a look at future global events remote viewed on the emerging timeline, and your own soul’s journey within this framework. Read this series as a metaphysical lens through which the present moment—and the future—might be seen and understood, and as a tool for understanding the universal principles that can generate global shifts and current dynamics:

Once upon a time, there was a great country—prosperous, free and proud. It was respected worldwide.

But it had fallen on hard times.

Its prestige in the world had become tarnished. The economy sputtered, inflation would not retreat. Its population grew fearful and dissatisfied. Military adventures over the years had shown cracks in its pride. Arrogant opportunists and powerful interests lined up, anxious to drain its coffers and exploit the downtrodden country’s former glory.

One day, a charismatic leader appeared. He was an awkward man who had failed at most of his undertakings. Yet, he had the uncanny ability to persuade people that he alone could save them from themselves. He told them he would show them how to hold their heads high, so they might again consider themselves the most powerful and resourceful people on the planet.

Hypnotized by the promise of renewal and resurrection, the country let him proceed—unquestioned, with impunity. He scapegoated vulnerable segments of the population, cut programs he considered beneath his followers, intimidated news outlets that he flooded with propaganda, and diverted attention from his indiscretions. He expanded the military, militarized the police, changed the laws to favor himself and his friends, and crushed anyone who opposed him.

A weary populace—barraged by lies, hollow diplomacy, crisis after crisis, and global bullying—gave up trying to resist as his administrators touted the regime’s prowess, strength and genius. Then they hurled the country head-first into war.

By the time it was all over, Adolf Hitler was dead by suicide, and the country he promised to save and make great again—for a thousand years to come—lay in utter ruin.

Karma can be a bitch.

Historical and other similarities aside, what does this really show? Why is it relevant now—not merely as reference, but as a reflection of the forces and energy shaping the world today?

The idea of a nation or a culture generating Karma isn't just about one leader or one regime: it’s about the collective actions, decisions, fears, and moral compass of mass consciousness—an entire generation, a whole nation. How those things ripple out to create reality affects every person and every country in the world.

Karma not only ties each individual’s moral failings to the fate of its leaders, government, country and culture, it ultimately ties each person to global consequences that change the world.

As a regulator of energetic flow looking to maintain homeostasis, Karma can herald turning points that introduce new ages. This is not mystical bookkeeping, nor divine punishment handed down by some external God force, as many believe.  It is a systemic Universal balancing act—where the action of thought is reflected through events, intention is made manifest, and vibration translates into physical form and reality. A feedback loop of energy. A manager of output, reflecting back what has been input—energetically—into the system.

When fear and resentment, loathing and negativity, dominate collective consciousness, those energies do not dissipate harmlessly into an unseen void. Though seldom understood or felt by most, those energies seek expression in the form of reality—fabrication into physical form, the ultimate purpose of the Universe. This energetic output can be seen crystallized in policies, institutions, borders, and narratives—later experienced as social and political schisms, economic instability, cultural bias, violence, and, eventually, war.

What begins as an internal state—fear of loss, fear of ‘others’ who are not the same, fear of irrelevance, fear of failure—tends, over time, to externalize those fears into live events and conditions that mirror the underlying energetic or psychological tones.

Patterns can be seen to emerge:

A populace conditioned by fear will encounter fearful events.

A society energized by contempt and loathing, meets its reflection and is loathed.

A nation that normalizes cruelty, brutality, and bullies, encounters abuse itself—from within and from without.

This phenomenon is the energetic balancing mechanism known as Karma. It is the process by which experiences and opportunities for soul growth return to us—not as moral judgement, but as a consequence of being compatible vibrationally with the energy expressed. That balance is enacted through physical reality: the actual events attracted to and lived by individuals, families, groups, companies, organizations, countries, and cultures over time.

History makes this painfully clear. During World War II in Germany and across Europe, in Japan and throughout the Pacific, the karmic reckoning was not limited to one man, one race or one single nation. An outgrowth of decades of fear, insecurity and loathing, the trauma spread outward, collapsing countries, shattering cultures, displacing millions, and reducing entire cities to ash.

Fear begot fear. Hatred begot devastation. Once unleashed, such energies tend not to discriminate between the guilty and the innocent. They work to consume everything—energetically speaking—in their path.

The takeaway is that karmic events operate on a micro and a macro scale. They can bring nations to their knees, not because the people in it are evil, but because collective consciousness has reached an energetic imbalance or impasse. That imbalance or blockage is reflected in governance and social norms, needing correction from time to time.

Yet Karma is not solely destructive. It is also a corrective system, energetically speaking.

When devastation reaches its peak, when suffering becomes undeniable, individual consciousness is forced to evolve—or perish. In the aftermath of global trauma, new values emerge: cooperation takes hold over domination, truth prevails over propaganda, reconstruction replaces destruction.

Karma reorders global consciousness, giving rise—however imperfectly—to new institutions, new human rights framework, and a collective understanding, derived from experience, that unchecked fear and insecurity will always lead to authoritarianism and destruction—usually with existential results.

This is where consciousness, truth and pure thought enter the equation.

Karma responds quickly to conscious intention—to thoughts and emotions as actions. A collective consciousness rooted in openness, awareness, compassion, and responsibility has the ability to exponentially alter the energetic field it inhabits.

Thoughts shape choice. Choice shapes systems. Systems shape outcomes.

When fear-based vibrations and narratives are challenged by clarity and higher consciousness, when scapegoating is replaced with accountability, when power is tempered by empathy and humility, karmic momentum shifts. The world changes back again.

But when fear and negativity are the amplified emotion and vibrational input—broadcast, monetized, weaponized—the balancing force of Karma accelerates its creation of events to meet and balance that frequency.

When we return, we will continue this discussion with a look at how Soul Age, Ascension Energies, and Karmic Cycles interface…
